Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Cookies
Small batch cookies that are warm, gooey, and ready in minutes

🛒Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips
👨🍳Instructions
Make Dough
In a bowl, cream together softened butter and both sugars until light. Mix in egg yolk and vanilla extract. Add flour, baking soda, and salt, mixing until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
Shape Cookies
Divide dough into 6 equal portions and roll into balls. Place on parchment paper and gently flatten to about 1/2 inch thick.
Preheat Air Fryer
Preheat air fryer to 325°F (160°C) for 2 minutes.
Bake Cookies
Place cookies in air fryer basket with at least 2 inches of space between each cookie. Bake for 7-8 minutes until edges are golden brown.
Cool and Serve
Let cookies cool in the basket for 2 minutes before carefully removing with a spatula. Serve warm for the best gooey texture.
💡Pro Tips
- ✓Room Temperature Butter: Softened butter (not melted) creates the best texture
- ✓Don't Overbake: Cookies will look slightly underdone when perfect - they continue cooking as they cool
- ✓Parchment Paper: Use parchment paper rounds cut to fit your air fryer for easy removal
- ✓Chill Dough: For thicker cookies, chill dough for 30 minutes before baking
